Wedding Car For The Budget Conscious
12 Jun 2010
Wedding Ceremonies are as beautiful and romantic as they are very pricey. Let us not argue that fact. Everything stinks of a dollar sign from the time leading to the wedding day when the boyfriend proposes to the girl with an engagement ring to the honeymoon break. But as scary as any dollar sign looks on your bill, you can always cut extra costs.
Cutting cost shouldn’t be excruciating. You can still have the dream wedding you wish, just look for the cheaper version. Reducing cost may mean having roses or carnation rather than the easily-wilt tulips. Or search for thrift stores that give deduction when you buy a bulk of that variety. You may make your own keepsake, your gown and the garments may be sewn or leased, food may be cooked by a family member, and your friend volunteers may organize the music and the whole event. Nearly everything can be bought cheaper.
But there are also some things that remain expensive even if there are comparatively cheaper already. Wedding cars cost from a few hundred dollars to over a thousand just to hire for a few hours. Even if you look for a cheaper car rental, it will still cost your hundreds of dollars.
So instead of paying that much just for a few hours of lease, why not just use your old but functioning auto? Turn something old into vintage. The difference is old is out-of-date, but vintage is retro. People are going for retro nowadays so even if your automobile is already decades old, you can save money by turning it into your wedding car instead of renting.
Start by grooming your prized automobile. The great thing about grooming your own vehicle to function on your wedding day is that not only will it save you hundreds of dollars, you also get to rejuvenate your car’s magnificence also. And this just won’t last for a couple of hours on your wedding day. You need to groom your car regularly anyway, so why not just use it for your wedding day?
Today, everything vintage is valued. You don’t need to trouble yourself even if your car doesn’t scream expensive. Even your old Volks will do if it is still operational. You can’t even blame its paint color if it’s not in the conventional white. It is true that white was the only way to go in the past, but today, any other color available will do so don’t worry about trading car paint colors.
You would need the requisite decorations, of course. Add the blooms on the hood and the the “Just Married” sign at the rear of the car and you’re all ready.
